Workplace model
- BergLabs uses a hybrid workplace model.
- On-site expectations depend on role, team, and project needs.
- Work arrangements may vary by office, customer requirements, and local practice in the United States and India.
Workplace standards
- Equal opportunity and respectful treatment are expected across hiring, work assignment, development, and day-to-day collaboration.
- BergLabs aims to maintain a harassment-free workplace and does not permit discrimination, intimidation, or retaliation.
- Concerns should have a clear path for reporting, review, and escalation.
- Privacy, confidentiality, and secure handling of information are expected in every role.
- BergLabs expects a safe, accessible, and professional work environment for employees, candidates, customers, and partners.
- Working hours, availability, and leave expectations should be clear, reasonable, and aligned to role, team, and local requirements.
- Local expectations may differ between the United States and India based on office, client, or jurisdiction-specific needs.
Conduct and collaboration
- Respectful communication is expected across meetings, written channels, customer interactions, and internal reviews.
- Team members are expected to act with accountability, clarity, and professionalism.
- Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or abusive conduct is not acceptable.
- Managers are expected to set clear expectations, respond promptly to concerns, and escalate issues when needed.
Confidentiality and data handling
- Company, employee, partner, and customer information should be protected at all times.
- Information should be shared on a need-to-know basis only.
- Access, storage, transfer, and retention should follow approved systems and documented handling practices.
AI and automation use
- Only approved AI and automation tools should be used for company or customer work.
- Sensitive, confidential, or personal information should not be exposed in unapproved systems.
- Customer-impacting work should keep appropriate human review and approval in the process.
- AI-assisted work should remain responsible, traceable, and subject to review when quality, safety, or policy risk is involved.
Security and reporting
- Secure access, approved devices, and approved tools are expected for company work.
- Incidents, access issues, policy concerns, or suspected misuse should be reported quickly for review and follow-up.
- BergLabs expects timely internal review, escalation, and issue resolution based on the nature of the concern.
Health, safety, accessibility, and availability
- Work should be carried out in a manner that supports health, safety, accessibility, and reasonable accommodation where relevant.
- Schedules, availability windows, and leave planning should be communicated clearly to managers and teams.
- Project urgency should not replace basic expectations around professionalism, safe working practices, and sustainable workload planning.
Grievance and contact path
BergLabs expects workplace and policy concerns to be raised promptly so they can be reviewed and addressed. Where appropriate, concerns should first be raised with the relevant manager or operating contact. If that is not appropriate or does not resolve the issue, the concern should be escalated through the next review path. General policy questions may be sent to support@berglabs.ai. Privacy or data-handling concerns may be sent to privacy@berglabs.ai.
